"Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)",[1][2] also known as simply "Stickerbush Symphony",[3] "Brambles",[4] or "Stickerbrush Symphony",[5] is a musical theme composed by David Wise for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, where it plays in all bramble levels: Bramble Blast, Bramble Scramble, and Screech's Sprint.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest[edit]

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest marks the first appearance of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)". It is also included in the official albums The Original Donkey Kong Country 2 Soundtrack, Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy Original Sound Version, and Donkey Kong Country Trilogy.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2, an arrangement of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" arranged by Jamie Hughes plays for the same purpose as in the original game. It is titled "Stickerbrush Symphony" in the game's sound test.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze[edit]

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port feature two arrangements of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" arranged by David Wise.

An arrangement of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" with prominent use of African wind and wood instruments plays before entering a Rocket Barrel in Twilight Terror.

A jazz arrangement of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" plays during the second half of the staff credits. It is titled "Credits" in the official album Nintendo Sound Selection: Endings & Credits.

Donkey Kong Land 2[edit]

In Donkey Kong Land 2, a chiptune arrangement of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" plays in all bramble levels, as well as all jungle levels in the Lost World, replacing "Primal Rave (Animal Antics)": Jungle Jinx, Klobber Karnage, and Animal Antics.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, an energetic arrangement of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" arranged by Michiko Naruke can play in the Rumble Falls stage. It also plays in The Lake, The Swamp, and The Great Maze in The Subspace Emissary. It is titled "Bramble Blast" in the game's sound test. It is also included in the official album Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U: A Smashing Soundtrack. The instrumentation features prominent use of plucked strings and acoustic guitar.

  • On the Nintendo Music app, "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" is labeled as "Selects", classifying it as one "of the very best tracks from the Nintendo Music library", originating from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" shares this title with "K. Rool Returns (Title Theme)" and "Kannon's Klanking (Kannon's Klaim)".
  • "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)" was originally intended to play in underwater or cloud levels, but the theme was repurposed due to the game lacking either of those level types.[16]
