"The Grand Finale"[1] is a musical theme composed by Yoko Shimomura for Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, where it plays during the final boss battle against Dark Bowser and the Dark Star Core.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story marks the first appearance of "The Grand Finale".

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey[edit]

In the Nintendo 3DS remake of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, an arrangement of "The Grand Finale" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. Both the original Nintendo DS version and the new 3DS arrangement can also be played in the Music option in the Records section of the star menu. They are titled "The Grand Finale" and "The Grand Finale DX" respectively.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the original version of "The Grand Finale" can play in the Mario Galaxy stage. It is titled as such in the game's sound test.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "The Grand Finale" can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series or Super Mario-series stage. It is titled as such in the game's sound test.
