An arrangement of "Tough Guy Alert!," titled "Tough Guy Alert! DX" in the sound test, was composed by Yoko Shimomura for Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. It plays during boss battles, just like the original, and has new instrumentation.
