"Starship Mario"[2] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays on Starship Mario.

Similar to "Rosalina in the Observatory" from Super Mario Galaxy, the instrumentation of "Starship Mario" changes as the player progresses through the game. There are three versions of the theme, and each version is more fully orchestrated than the previous. The first version, titled "Starship Mario 1", plays on Starship Mario after the player clears "Storming the Sky Fleet". The second version, titled "Starship Mario 2", plays after the player clears "Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor". The third and final version, titled "Starship Mario 3", plays after the player clears "Breaking into Bowser's Castle".

The themes are also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack album.
