"K. Rool Returns (Title Theme)",[1][2] also known as simply "K. Rool Returns"[3] or "Main Theme",[4] is a musical theme composed by David Wise for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, where it plays in the game's title screen. This theme is often used as a leitmotif for the Kremling Krew.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest marks the first appearance of "K. Rool Returns (Title Theme)". It is also included in the official albums Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest Original Soundtrack, Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy Original Sound Version, and Donkey Kong Country Trilogy.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2, an arrangement of "K. Rool Returns (Title Theme)" arranged by Jamie Hughes plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, brief arrangements of "K. Rool Returns (Title Theme)" arranged by Soshi Abe are incorporated in the game's arrangement of "Crocodile Cacophony (K. Rool's Theme)", which can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Donkey Kong-series stage. It is simply titled "Crocodile Cacophony" in the game's sound test.

Donkey Kong Bananza[edit]
In Donkey Kong Bananza, an arrangement of "K. Rool Returns (Title Theme)" is incorporated in the game's arrangement of "Gang-Plank Galleon" from Donkey Kong Country, which plays during the second phase of the boss battle against King K. Rool. It is titled "Banandium Root Tower" in the game's sound test.
