"Run, Rambi! Run! (Parrot Chute Panic)",[1][2] also known as simply "Run, Rambi! Run!",[3] is a musical theme composed by David Wise for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Despite the title, this song does not play in the level it is named after, Parrot Chute Panic, but it instead plays during the chase sequence with King Zing in Rambi Rumble. This theme is not included in the game's sound test.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest[edit]

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest marks the first appearance of "Run, Rambi! Run!" It is also included in the official albums The Original Donkey Kong Country 2 Soundtrack, Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy Original Sound Version, and Donkey Kong Country Trilogy.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2, "Run, Rambi! Run!" does not play in Rambi Rumble, with the chase sequence instead playing "Bad Bird Rag". However, an arrangement of the theme can still be heard in the game's sound test, where it is simply titled "Run, Rambi! Run!" This is the only place where the theme can play in-game. This is also the only theme in the entire game to be exclusive to the sound test.[4]

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze[edit]

In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and the Nintendo Switch port of the same name, several musical phrases from "Run, Rambi! Run" appear in the theme that plays in Frantic Fields.

In Donkey Kong Land 2, a chiptune arrangement of "Run, Rambi! Run!" plays in Screech's Sprint, replacing "Bad Bird Rag". Unlike the original theme, it does not play in Rambi Rumble due to there being no chase sequence.
