"World 6 Map (Ice Land)"[1] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Bros. 3, where it plays in the overworld map for Ice Land, the sixth world of the game.

Arrangements[edit]

The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]

Three different arrangements of "World 6 Map (Ice Land)" can be heard throughout The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, as the show is based on Super Mario Bros. 3. The second arrangement (in chronological order) is used for the title card sequence of "Life's Ruff", and is often heard whenever a dangerous situation occurs in the show.

Super Mario series[edit]

Super Mario All-Stars[edit]

In Super Mario All-Stars, its re-release, Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World, and its Wii port, Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition, an arrangement of "World 6 Map (Ice Land)" plays in the overworld map for the sixth world of the game's remake of Super Mario Bros. 3. This arrangement returns in Super Mario Maker 2, where it plays in snow-themed worlds from the World Maker.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]

In Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, an arrangement of "World 6 Map (Ice Land)" plays in the overworld map for the sixth world, just like in the original game.

Mario Party[edit]

In Mario Party, an arrangement of "World 6 Map (Ice Land)," titled "Slowly, Slowly" and arranged by Yasunori Mitsuda, plays in the minigames Ghost Guess and Pedal Power.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[edit]

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Nintendo Switch remake of the same name, an arrangement of "World 6 Map (Ice Land)" plays in the Mailbox SP whenever Jolene (while under the alias of "X") sends Mario an e-mail.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, an arrangement of "World 6 Map (Ice Land)" is incorporated in "Fortress Boss - Super Mario Bros. 3," which is an arrangement of "Fortress Boss" from Super Mario Bros. 3 and can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
