"Mine Cart Madness"[1][2] (alternatively formatted as "Minecart Madness",[3] and known as "THE CART LEVEL" in Japanese soundtracks) is a musical theme composed by David Wise for Donkey Kong Country, where it plays in the Mine Cart-riding levels Mine Cart Carnage and Mine Cart Madness. This theme quotes "DK Island Swing" from the same game near the end.

In the Game Boy Color remake of Donkey Kong Country, a chiptune arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" plays for the same purpose as in the original game, as well as in the levels Stop & Go Station, Misty Mine, and Loopy Lights, replacing "Misty Menace".

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country, an arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

Donkey Kong Country Returns, the Nintendo 3DS port, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and the Nintendo Switch port, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, feature five arrangements of "Mine Cart Madness".

A faithful arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" with additional jungle-inspired instruments plays in the level Crazy Cart.

A faster-paced arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" plays in the levels Rickety Rails and Bombs Away. In the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch ports, it also plays in the level Mischievous Moles. It is titled "Rickety Rails" in the game's music gallery.

A faster-paced but mostly faithful arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" plays in the level Grip 'n' Trip. It is titled "Mine Cart Cruise" in the game's music gallery.

An even faster-paced arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" with additional xylophone instrumentation plays in the level Prehistoric Path. It is likewise titled "Prehistoric Path" in the game's music gallery.

An arrangement of "Prehistoric Path" with additional low chants plays in the level Roasting Rails. It is titled "Lava Blitz" in the game's music gallery.

A faithful arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" plays in the Mine-Cart Country Challenge Course. It is titled "2D Challenge Course #3 (Mine Cart Madness)" in the Nintendo Music app and simply "2D Challenge Course #3" in the game's sound test.

A more ominous arrangement of "Mine Cart Madness" plays while the player is riding a Mine Cart between sublayers in the Planet Core. It is titled "Planet Core: Mine-Cart Ride" in the Nintendo Music app and the game's sound test.

The theme that plays in sublayers 1607 and 1608 of the Planet Core quotes "Mine Cart Madness" at the beginning. It is titled "Planet Core: Second Half" in the Nintendo Music app and the game's sound test.
