"Throne Room"[1] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Bros. 3, where it plays during the cutscenes with the transformed kings that are seen before and after each airship course.

Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]
Super Mario Bros. 3 marks the first appearance of "Throne Room". It is also included in the official albums Super Mario World, Game Sound Museum: Super Mario Bros. 3, and Famicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music.
Paper Mario series[edit]
Paper Mario: Sticker Star[edit]
In Paper Mario: Sticker Star, an arrangement of "Throne Room" plays during the flashback cutscenes shown after a Royal Sticker is collected. It particularly resembles the Super Mario All-Stars arrangement of "Throne Room".

Paper Mario: Color Splash[edit]
In Paper Mario: Color Splash, a nearly identical version of the Paper Mario: Sticker Star arrangement is heard during the cutscene after Mario collects a Big Paint Star. This recording has a higher audio quality, and different piano notes in the backing track. It is found on the record for The Crimson Tower at the Prisma Museum, where it is titled "You Got the Paint Star!".
