Arrangements[edit]
New Super Mario Bros. Wii[edit]
An updated version of "Switch On!" appears in New Super Mario Bros. Wii with slightly different instrumentation. This version would be reused in New Super Mario Bros. 2 (with an additional tick-tock sound added), New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe as well as in the New Super Mario Bros. U style of Super Mario Maker, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Mario Maker 2. The Super Mario 3D World style of the latter game also uses this theme, as Super Mario 3D World does not have its own P Switch music.
On the Golden Plains stage in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, hitting a P Switch plays this arrangement of the theme as well as the corresponding sound effects from New Super Mario Bros. 2.
