"Flower Field BGM",[1] also known as "The Flower Garden",[2] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, where it plays in most overworld levels.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island[edit]
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island marks the first appearance of "Flower Field BGM". It is also included in the official albums Super Mario: Yossy Island Original Sound Version and Nintendo Power - Play it Loud! Original Soundtrack Volume 1.
Yoshi's Story[edit]
In Yoshi's Story, the theme that plays in Shy Guy Limbo incorporates a brief arrangement of "Flower Field BGM". It is titled "Yoshi Games" in the Nintendo Music app and the official Music to Pound the Ground to: Yoshi's Story Game Soundtrack album, and it was arranged by Kazumi Totaka. It is also included in the official albums Yoshi Story Original Soundtrack and Love, Peace & Happiness: The Original Yoshi's Story Soundtrack.

Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3[edit]
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, an arrangement of "Flower Field BGM" plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a jazz arrangement of "Flower Field BGM" arranged by Noriyuki Iwadare can play in the Yoshi's Island stage. This theme also incorporates a brief arrangement of "Athletic BGM" from the same game. It is titled "Yoshi's Island" in the game's sound test.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, an upbeat, synth-focused medley arrangement of "Stage Start", "Flower Field BGM", "Opening Melody", and "Map Screen" from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island can play in the Woolly World stage. It is titled "Yoshi's Island" in the game's sound test, and it was arranged by Yoshihito Yano.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, both "Yoshi's Island" from Super Smash Bros. Brawl and "Yoshi's Island" from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Yoshi-series stage. They are titled "Yoshi's Island (Brawl)" and "Yoshi's Island (for 3DS / Wii U)" respectively in the game's sound test.
Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge[edit]
In Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge, the level intro theme, both level themes, the win fanfare, and the lose fanfare in Egg Launch Land are all arrangements of "Flower Field BGM".

Mario Kart World features two different arrangements of "Flower Field BGM": a ska arrangement titled "Flower Field BGM (Ska Ver.)" and a jazz arrangement titled "Flower Field BGM (Jazz Ver.)". Both can play in Free Roam, with the jazz version being exclusive to that mode. The ska version can also play during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race; in Grand Prix, it is one of four themes that can play on the route from Dino Dino Jungle to Great ? Block Ruins in the Banana Cup.

The Super Nintendo World theme park features an arrangement of "Flower Field BGM". In Japan, it plays in the queue for Yoshi's Adventure. In Hollywood, it plays in the queue for Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge.
