Super Mario Galaxy marks the first appearance of "Gusty Garden Galaxy". It also features three additional arrangement of the theme, all of which were arranged by Mahito Yokota, and are also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album.

An arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" is incorporated in the theme that plays in all timed Purple Comet missions. It is titled "Purple Comet" in the Nintendo Music app and the Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album.

A piano arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" in F major plays during the ending cutscene when Mario stands up and welcomes the reconstructed galaxy. It is titled "Birth" in the Nintendo Music app and the Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album. In-game, only approximately 13 seconds of the theme plays in the cutscene before it fades to the staff credits.

An arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" is incorporated in the theme that plays during the staff credits. It is titled "Super Mario Galaxy" in the Nintendo Music app and the Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album.

"Gusty Garden Galaxy" and all of the aforementioned arrangements return in the Nintendo Switch ports, Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, for the same purposes.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, feature four arrangements of "Gusty Garden Galaxy", all of which were arranged by Mahito Yokota, and are also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack album.

An arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" is incorporated in "Super Mario Galaxy 2 Trailer Theme", which was used in the game's trailer at the Nintendo Media Summit in 2010. This theme does not appear in the original Wii version, but it is available in the Nintendo Switch version's sound test.

An arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" plays during the prologue when Mario visits the Star Festival. It is titled "A New Story" in the Nintendo Music app.

An arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" plays in World S. It is likewise titled "World S" in the Nintendo Music app and the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack album.

An arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" is incorporated in the theme that plays during the staff credits. It is titled "Super Mario Galaxy 2 Credits" in the Nintendo Music app and simply "Super Mario Galaxy 2" in the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack album.

Finally, the original version of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" plays during the first three sections of the Grandmaster Galaxy mission "The Perfect Run". Additional bongo percussion is added to the intrumentation whenever the player is riding a Yoshi.

Super Mario 3D World / Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury[edit]

In Super Mario 3D World and the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, an arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" arranged by Mahito Yokota plays in Honeycomb Starway, Honeycomb Skyway, and Champion's Road. It is titled "Champion Road" in the official Super Mario 3D World Original Soundtrack album, which is the latter level's British English name.

In the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, an arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" can be chosen as the background music for events. It is titled "WIND GARDEN (Super Mario Galaxy)" in the game's sound test. "Wind Garden" is the Japanese name of the original theme.

In Mario Kart 8 and the Nintendo Switch port, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a brief arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" is incorporated in the theme that plays in Cloudtop Cruise. The entire theme is likewise titled "Cloudtop Cruise" in the Nintendo Music app. Additionally, a metal arrangement of "Cloudtop Cruise" plays during the thundercloud section, which also includes a brief arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy". Both themes were composed by Atsuko Asahi.

In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" can play in Free Roam and during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race. In Grand Prix, it is one of four themes that can play on the route from Crown City to Peach Stadium in the Shell Cup.

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the original version of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" and "Champion Road" from Super Mario 3D World can play in the Mario Galaxy stage. The former theme was also featured in Rosalina's official reveal trailer "Comet Observatory", where it plays throughout the entirety of the section showing off gameplay footage. The trailer originally released on December 18, 2013, and it is playable in the final game's "Videos" menu.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" and "Champion Road" from Super Mario 3D World can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.

Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition[edit]

Mario Party: Star Rush[edit]
