7-Eleven
7-Eleven is an American chain of convenience stores. On multiple separate occasions, 7-Eleven has collaborated with Nintendo on cross-promotions themed after various products in the Super Mario franchise.
Promotions[edit]
The first known 7-Eleven promotion themed after the Super Mario franchise took place in 1993. 7-Eleven released Slurpee cups themed after Super Mario Bros., which released the same year. Three cups were released. One cup depicted Mario and Luigi running from a Goomba, another depicted Yoshi, and the third depicted Mario and Luigi in a pose similar to one used on the Japanese VHS cover for the film. Each cup also featured a description of the cup's subject.
28 years later, in Japan, 7-Eleven held a promotion themed after the broader Super Mario franchise for the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary event. Multiple unique products themed after the film - all of which were food - were released. Said products are listed below.

Additionally, if customers purchased select eligible drinks, they'd receive bottle markers themed after various Super Mario games released between 1985 and 2019 in Japan. There are twelve bottle markers in total. In addition, if the customer purchased three eligible chocolate products, they'd receive one of four Super Mario-themed ballpoint pens. An event by the name of Super Mario Brothers 35‑shūnen "Pin Badge Challenge" was also held, in which participants had to check in via the Nintendo of Japan website at a participating 7-Eleven to win a badge themed after a game in the Super Mario series.
The same year, 7-Eleven was also one of the hosts of that year's Ichibankuji lottery, which featured Super Mario-themed products.
Two years later, in Mexico, 7-Eleven held a promotion themed after The Super Mario Bros. Movie. For the promotion, participants had to purchase $99 or more at a participating 7-Eleven and present their receipt between 11:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Participants received "double access" if they also answered the provided survey. If the participant completed these steps, they would be entered into a drawing to receive free tickets to the film. Additionally, the 7-Eleven located in the Tecnológico area temporarily featured elements from the film outside and within the store.
Seven months later, in Japan, 7-Eleven held a promotion themed after Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
