Toad Brigade Training Camp

At the Toad Brigade Training Camp in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, players can talk to Brigade Blue Toad to take on trainings set in courses from the main game. Completing trainings awards the player with Bellabel Water and patches which represent the player's rank in the Toad Brigade. As the player completes challenges, they will rank up, unlocking additional challenges. Some trainings require being in a specific form to be able to accomplish them and since they cannot get any power-ups, the Yoshis and Nabbit cannot participate in these trainings. They are temporarily replaced by other characters during the training. If a player is defeated when playing a training in Local Multiplayer, they may spectate the other players.

The Bellabel Water reward for completing a training course depends on many factors, notably the difficulty. Clearing a training with a difficulty of one awards five droplets of Bellabel Water; a difficulty of two awards ten droplets of Bellabel Water; a difficulty of three awards fifteen droplets of Bellabel Water; a difficulty of four awards twenty droplets of Bellabel Water; and a difficulty of five awards forty droplets of Bellabel Water. If it is the player's first time clearing that course on a save file, additional Bellabel Water is awarded depending on the difficulty. Clearing a training with a difficulty of one or two for the first time awards five extra droplets of Bellabel Water; a difficulty of three awards ten extra droplets of Bellabel Water; a difficulty of four awards twenty extra droplets of Bellabel Water; and a difficulty of five awards forty extra droplets of Bellabel Water. Additionally, a Bellabel Water coin, worth one droplet of Bellabel Water, is awarded for each player that reaches the top of the Goal Pole. Lastly, an extra droplet of Bellabel Water is awarded for one less than the amount of surviving players when the training course ends. After exiting the selection screen for choosing a training course, Brigade Blue Toad may grant some extra Bellabel Water.

Certain trainings have specific badges that are required to be equipped for that training, similarly to Badge Challenges. If there is not a required badge, the player may choose from a selection of unlocked badges, unless the training requires the player to be in a vehicle. This selection excludes most Boost Badges, with the only Boost Badge included being the Safety Bounce Badge. Certain trainings do not allow particular badges. Some trainings have the player start in a specific form. Four vehicles may be required to use in trainings: Bouncy Ball, Flap Jet, Propeller Flower, and Roller Skate.

By pressing on the selection screen, a clipboard raphic with recommended trainings will appear. If there is no available training to attempt but not all of them have been cleared, the message "There is still some training left to unlock. Continue your adventure, and more will become available!" will appear with an image of a Wonder Flower. If all training have been completed the message "Congratulations on completing all training!" will appear with Brigade Blue Toad's emblem.

There are five different types of trainings:

• "Collect coins in time!": These involve collecting all of the coins in a specific part of a level within the time limit.
• "Defeat enemies in time!": These require the player to defeat all of the enemies in a level within the time limit. Undefeatable or indefinitely respawning enemies are not required to be defeated.
• "Clear the course in time!": These require the player to reach the Goal Pole within the time limit.
• "Clear course and stay invincible!": These require the player to reach the goal while in an invincible state. To do so, the player must collect Starpoints throughout the course before the star power expires.
• Extra training: This category contains varying types of trainings, including clearing a course without touching any coins or enemies or defeating "buffed-up" versions of the Koopalings, first with power-ups, and later without.

Backpack

The backpack with all of the patches received

The backpack allows players to view the patches they have earned. Initially, the player's Brigade Rank will be "Aspiring Brigade Member", but completing a certain amount of training challenges will increase their rank. Additionally, there are patches that are obtained by completing every challenge of a particular type, as well as a flag obtained by defeating all of the Koopalings.
