Cosmic Hoppos is a course in Pipe-Rock Plateau of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is the second course to prominently feature Hoppos, after Here Come the Hoppos. It is unlocked after completing Sproings in the Twilight Forest and its own completion unlocks the course Expert Badge Challenge Jet Run I. This course houses two Wonder Seeds.
This is an entirely vertically-oriented course and begins on the peak of a mountain, later moving into the clouds. Much like Here Come the Hoppos, this course tasks the player with bouncing on Hoppos to proceed. Oftentimes, a Hoppo must be rolled into a hole to be in the right position for the player to progress. Halfway through the stage, there is an opening in the left wall leading to a sub-area, the Hoppo obstructing it can be removed with Elephant Mario's trunk or a shell. Just in front of the Goal Pole is a hole for a Hoppo. Bouncing off of it, then wall-jumping from the left-hand wall will direct the player to a hidden section of the stage housing the Wonder Flower, hidden in a glowing spot on a wall.
The Wonder Flower can be dislodged with Elephant Mario's trunk or a Swirlypod shell from the pipe nearby. When activated, it will make the nearby Hoppo glow. Bouncing on this Hoppo will launch the player into an auto-scrolling space area, where they can float around freely by repeatedly tapping the jump button. They must avoid several Spike Traps and Hoppos that can bounce the player into these hazards. Near the end of the section, a constellation in the shape of a large Hoppo will transform into a real one, orbited by small flower coins. The Wonder Seed is at the end of the section, upon collection of which the player will fall back to the ground. A pipe leads back to the area where the Wonder Flower was found, from there the player simply needs to return to the Goal Pole to complete the course.
