A Final Uncharted Area: Poison Ruins is the final main course of Fungi Mines in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is unlocked after clearing Another Uncharted Area: Swaying Ruins, and requires eleven Wonder Seeds from Fungi Mines to enter. Its own completion unlocks Operation Poplin Rescue. This course houses two Wonder Seeds and has a difficulty of four stars.

Layout

The course starts off with a ? Block to the right, containing a Wow Bud that lowers several pillars, making red Koopa Troopas and coins appear. Next is another Wow Bud on top of a bridge that lowers another pillar, releasing three red Koopa Paratroopas. After a long hallway the next Wow Bud that lowers the pillars below the player, sending them falling as more pillars attempt to close on them.

The player ends up at the first Checkpoint Flag, with dark blue poison nearby. To the right are two Wow Buds, with the one on the bone raft causing the poison to rise, helping the player reach the one on the wall that makes more bone rafts appear. Along them is an Outmaway with a red shell in front of it, before a jump that leads to three ? Blocks, with one of them containing a Bubble Flower and another containing a Wow Bud that lowers a pillar. After a red Koopa Paratroopa and two Outmaways is four ? Blocks, with one of them containing a Wow Bud that lowers a pillar leading to some more bone rafts. There is a Wow Bud on a bridge above that moves a pillar to the right. Then the player goes left, making their way through many bridges before reaching another Wow Bud that moves pillars to the left, taking them to another bridge with a red pipe above it, which leads to the second Checkpoint Flag.

There is a pool of Goo to the right, with two ? Blocks after it, with one of them containing a Wow Bud that lowers some pillars that end up in varying heights. After an Outmaway and a red shell is a Goal Pole, although it isn't the real one. By ground-pounding into the Goo, the course's Wonder Flower appears and immediately turns the player into a Wubba, where they can use the form's ability to stick to walls and ceilings to bypass the Goal Pole. This takes the player to a section that goes upwards and then left with a pool of poison below with two walls above that has poison in between them that is up high. To the left is a block on a track with a Wow Bud on top of it, which causes the block and a block to the left of the track to start moving, taking the player across the poison with red Koopa Paratroopas close by. After encountering blocks that fall to the ground by Wow Buds, the player reaches a narrow passage that leads to the section before reaching the first Checkpoint Flag, now with poison below it. There are some Wow Buds that move blocks out of the way, leading to another narrow passage. The player is taken to a large room with circular platforms, with a block above with a Wow Bud below it that opens a massive room with circular platforms on circular tracks with the center being covered with lava. There are two Wow Buds found on the circular platforms that remove the lava, revealing the Wonder Seed.

A red pipe to the left of the room takes the player outside, with three blocks helping them reach the top of the true Goal Pole. The last two blocks contain a Wow Bud that causes them to fall.

10-flower coins

• 10-flower coin 1: Found to the left of a block above the section after the set of three ? Blocks. A Wow Bud that occasionally pops out from the ceiling causes the block to move, making it easier to reach it.
• 10-flower coin 2: Found in the section filled with bridges, located below the right half of the long bridge.
• 10-flower coin 3: Found in the section with the blocks with Wow Buds that can cause them to fall. It is located underneath the room, with poison directly below it.
