Maw-Maw Mouthful is a course in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is found in the Petal Isles. To access this course, Petal Isles Flying Battleship must be completed. Clearing this course unlocks Badge Challenge Boosting Spin Jump I and Muncher Fields. This course primarily features Maw-Maws. The difficulty is two stars, and the course houses two Wonder Seeds.
LayoutEdit
When the stage starts, a Goomba falls off a ledge before a Maw-Maw eats it. The path to the first Checkpoint Flag contains several Warp Pipes, although none of them can be entered. There are also many Maw-Maws along the way; some of them are positioned in areas to allow the players to see them eat coins, power-ups, and even Swirlypods. One Maw-Maw hits its head on Brick Blocks. Eventually, there will be a Warp Pipe that spawns Goombas. A long slope is located right after it, followed by a lift leading to a high ledge containing the first Checkpoint Flag.
Below the ledge is a handle. When it is pulled, it will reveal the Wonder Flower. Upon collecting it, all players transform into Goombas, decreasing their speed and jump height but also allowing them to walk on Spike Traps and hide behind shrubs to avoid Maw-Maws. The players must avoid the Maw-Maws and use lifts to reach the Wonder Seed. After collecting it, the Wonder Effect ends, and all players revert to their normal forms. Just past the Wonder Seed is the Goal Pole, with three small floating platforms before it, all of which are occupied by Maw-Maws.
Hidden Character BlocksEdit
- A Blue Toad Hidden Character Block can be found three blocks lower and six and a half of blocks to the left from the fourth ? Block of the stage. It contains a single flower coin.
10-flower coinsEdit
