Wendy's Showdown! is a level in Pipe-Rock Plateau in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park. It is unlocked after defeating the Koopalings in Bellabel Park after they steal the large Bellabel Flower. It is a variation of the level Piranha Plants on Parade.

Layout[edit]

The course starts with Wendy on top of a Semisolid Platform. After that, the player, Captain Toad, and the Recruit Poplin enter the screen and face her to retrieve one of the seven Bellabel Flowers that she stole. After the player presses A Button on the last dialogue, she proceeds to transform into her Wonder form using Bowser's Wonder power. This puts the course in a Wonder Effect, making the course have multiple clouds and making its ambient turn purple. She then jumps into the purple fog at the bottom of the screen and makes two portals appear. These portals throw out a set of three Cloud Cheep Cheeps.[conjectural] When the player progresses farther in the course, more Cloud Cheep Cheeps will appear in larger numbers from the portals.

In some sections of the level, Wendy will stick her head out from the portal; this happens when the player reaches the section where Trottin' Piranha Plants spawn indefinitely from pipes and under the Marimba Block staircase before the final portal.

When the player passes the final portal and walks through a corridor, Wendy will swim out from a portal and she will later enter through another portal before the player touches the second Checkpoint Flag. After that, there will be a Plucky that will throw a ? Capsule containing a Super Flower Pot. After the player reaches the end of the second staircase, it walks near her and some pink Wonder Blocks[development] will disappear.

Wendy will appear and jump to the ground. She will claim that she is better. After that, Wendy will jump through one of her portals and the battle starts.

In the battle arena, there are two Semisolid Platforms. Wendy will swim from portal to portal trying to hit the player. After the player jumps on her for the second time, at the top-right corner of the arena, portals begin appearing that dispense Cloud Cheep Cheeps. After the fourth portal appears, Wendy will come out with some Cloud Cheep Cheeps behind her. After the third hit, Plucky will appear and drop a ? Capsule that contains a Super Flower Pot. Once the ? Capsule opens, they will leave.

In the final phase of the boss fight, she will come out of the poison and jump around the arena. After each hit, she enlarges herself and increases she will become faster.

After the last hit, Wendy will return to her normal form. She will then jump off-screen.

Then, the Recruit Poplin and Captain Toad will walk in and a Bellabel Flower will appear at the center of the screen to collect.
