“I've found one of the Koopalings at the foot of a snowy mountain! Why's he riding on that ball? Maybe to amuse himself? Well, anyway, he seems distracted, so it's a good time to strike! Please, get here as fast as you can!”
Recruit Report, Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park

Lemmy's Showdown! is a level in Fluff-Puff Peaks in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park. It is unlocked after defeating the Koopalings in Bellabel Park after they steal the large Bellabel Flower. It is a variation of the level Pokipede Pass. This course houses one Bellabel Flower and has a difficulty of two stars.

Layout[edit]

The course starts with Lemmy on top of a Semisolid Platform. After that, the player, Captain Toad, and the Recruit Poplin enter the screen and face him to retrieve one of the seven Bellabel Flowers that he stole. After the player presses A Button on the last dialogue, he proceeds to transform into his Wonder form using Bowser's Wonder power. This puts the course in a Wonder Effect, making the level have clouds with a yellow outline on them, and confetti instead of falling snow. After he transforms, he throws confetti through his arms, and he will leave one of his bombs that explodes after he kicks it near a set of Snow Blocks.

Throughout the level, when Lemmy chuckles, bombs fall from the sky. As the player progresses farther in the level, the bombs appear in larger numbers.

The bombs can be used to destroy Hard Blocks or defeat Pokipedes. In a section of the level, there are a small set of Hard Blocks; behind them, are three collectable Flower coins.

After the first Checkpoint Flag, the player passes through a section with Snow Blocks and crates. Afterwards, a wall of Hard Blocks is found. The player must break them with a bomb in order to progress.

After the second Red Pokipede, there is a section where the player will be protected from falling bombs. When the player goes further, there are multiple crates that may contain Coins, flower coins, or nothing inside them.

When the player passes the last crate and walks through a corridor, Lemmy will laugh. This corridor contains another Checkpoint Flag, and after that, there will be a Plucky that will throw a ? Capsule containing an Elephant Fruit inside. After the player reaches the end of the second staircase, they walk near him. There will be Lemmy standing on top of a yellow Spike Ball. After that, Lemmy will leave the area for a brief moment, and in the middle of the screen, a red spotlight will appear and Lemmy will go down on top of three Spike Balls and another four spotlights on the top of the screen will appear, making the appearance of a circus show.

In the first phase, Lemmy will hop around the arena on his Spike Balls and throw bombs that the player can use to destroy the Spike Balls After the third Spike Ball is destroyed, Lemmy will run around panically, allowing the player to stomp him. After the first hit, Lemmy will lay on the ground and proceed to transform in a giant, multicolored Spike Ball that is on the upper-middle of the screen. Then he will look for the player to get a lock on them so he can damage the player. While he performs this attack, he rolls around and bounces off the screen borders.

After that, he will leave for a brief moment and go back to his Wonder form. In the second phase, he will be on top of six Spike Balls and repeat the same pattern of the first phase. When the player destroys half of his Spike Balls, and when he lands on the floor, he will spin and leave the arena for a brief moment. A red spotlight appears to show where he will appear. After he lands, he throws four bombs; if the player manages to stomp him atop his Spike Balls, he will lose his balance and try to regain it. In that state, he will throw another bomb. After destroying all of his Spike Balls and damaging him again, he will leave the screen for a brief moment and then he comes down transformed into a giant Spike Ball again. This time, he moves faster and locks onto the player twice. Afterwards, he will leave and a Plucky will appear throwing a ? Capsule containing an Elephant fruit and then it leaves.

In the last phase, Lemmy will be on top of ten Spike Balls. After most of his Spike Balls are destroyed, he will spin and leave for a brief moment. He does it three times; two of them throws out two bombs and the last one throws out six Magical Balls.

After the last hit, Lemmy will return to his normal form. He will then jump off-screen.

Then, the Recruit Poplin and Captain Toad will walk in and a Bellabel Flower will appear at the center of the screen to collect.

Hidden Character Blocks[edit]

  • A Yellow Yoshi Hidden Character Block can be found above a set of three Snow Blocks where the first Talking Flower is found. It gives a Flower coin.
  • A Peach Hidden Character Block can be found after the player enters the section where they are protected from the falling bombs. It gives a Flower coin.
