Fungi Mines Special Dangerous Donut Ride is a course in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is found in the Special World and is unlocked after revisiting Operation Poplin Rescue in Fungi Mines. This course has the players plunge underground by using several Donut Blocks, and eventually by just free falling. This course has a difficulty of five stars, and it houses two Wonder Seeds.

Layout[edit]

The players start on solid ground where they can see a Brown Trompette walking on a Long Donut Block in front of them. They must use this Donut Block to defend to the next one, while navigating through lots of spikes. The second Donut Block has another Brown Trompette on it and leads immediately to the third one. This Donut Block leads to two conjoined Donut Blocks that have two Li'l Sparkies on them, which must be avoided. The second Donut Block leads to solid ground where two more Li'l Sparkies are. A Hothead is atop the next Donut Block, which will land on Green Poison. The players must jump from this Donut Block to another one where another Li'l Sparky is. This Donut Block leads to solid ground where another Donut Block is, close to a pipe that spawns Li'l Sparkies. This Donut Block has a long descent, where more pipes that spawn Li'l Sparkies along the way. The walls are surrounded by spikes where two Green Gamboos are. At the bottom of this section is the Wonder Flower.

After obtaining the Wonder Flower, the players will free fall. They must navigate past poison balls and then walls of poison that move side to side. There are several parachuting Purple Gamboos along the way and stacks of Green Gamboos that fall from above. At the bottom of the mine is the Wonder Seed. After collecting it, the Wonder Effect ends, a red pipe rises up, and Donut Blocks appear next to it to save the players from falling into the poison. This pipe will take the players to the Goal Pole, where two rows of smaller Donut Blocks can be used to reach the top of it. A Li'l Sparky is on the first row of Donut Blocks, while a Hothead is on the second.

The first 10-flower coin in Fungi Mines Special Dangerous Donut Ride in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Found close to the ceiling above the second Brown Trompette in the course. The players must time their jump off of the first Donut Block, or they can boost off of the Brown Trompette to grab the coin.
The second 10-flower coin in Fungi Mines Special Dangerous Donut Ride in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Found in the area where red pipes spawn Li'l Sparkies during the fall to the Wonder Flower.
The third 10-flower coin in Fungi Mines Special Dangerous Donut Ride in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Found in between two poison balls not far into the Wonder Effect.
