The Wonder Hoppycat,[1] referred to as an "expert" in the Taily's Toxic Pond quiz,[2] is an orange Hoppycat who can jump extremely high found in The Midway Trial: Hop to It in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Its color is apparently a result of rigorous training.[3] The Wonder Flower drops when it is defeated, and collecting it transforms all player characters into their Hoppycat form. This form is different from the nromal green-colored Hoppycats in that it can leap incredibly high into the air, comparable to the Wonder Hoppycat's jump height.

An unused iteration of the Wonder Hoppycat that reuses the same model is present in the game's files. Unlike the Wonder Hoppycat's jump height, this variant's jump height is the same as the one of a normal Hoppycat.[4]
