Beacons[1] are recurring objects in Super Mario Bros. Wonder found in most of the levels throughout the game. They are yellow beams of light that dispense an item when ground-pounded, hit by a Konk, or moved under as Drill Mario; beacons typically contain coins or flower coins, but they can also contain Wonder Flowers.
