Chō Mario Sugoroku 3 is a board game released as furoku in the February 2024 issue of the Corocoro Ichiban magazine. The game is themed after three then-recent Super Mario games, these being Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Each of the three games has its own section on the board, in addition to themed spaces.
Details[edit]
The object of the game is to be the first to reach the goal, which is done by using "item cards". Players are to start in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder section, reach the middle of the board, and then progress to either the Super Mario RPG section or the Mario vs. Donkey Kong section. The center space features artwork of both games, and states that players are to roll the die to determine which area to progress to. If players roll between a one and a three, they are to go to the Super Mario RPG section; if they roll between a four and a six, they are to progress to the Mario vs. Donkey Kong section.
