Super Bluff is one of four card games themed after the Super Mario franchise that was released by CBD Spiele in 1991. The game is tied to Nintendo Power. Like the other Super Mario–themed games that were released by the company that year, Super Bluff is branded after Super Mario Bros. on the front cover and manual; however, the game is themed after multiple Super Mario games. For instance, the game's cover features unique illustrations of enemies and bosses appearing in Super Mario Bros. 2.
Details[edit]
The game appears to be played in a manner akin to the card game of a similar title. THe object of the game is to be the first to lay down all of the cards in one's hand. In order to do this, players are allowed to lie about what cards are in their hand. Each card features a number between one and 13. Additionally, special cards featuring artwork of Mario giving the peace sign branded with the game's title are also included. Like the other Super Mario games released by the company that year, Super Bluff also includes a sheet to record scores achieved by players.
