Game Kids Mario: Super Mario Land 2 is a scroll up game released in 1991 by Tomy. The game is themed after Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins, and is contained in a shell similar to a Game Boy. The game moves automatically, and the player appears to only be able to control whether Mario moves horizontally left or right.
Details[edit]
Upon starting the game in an area visually similar to the file select screen of Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins, Mario begins automatically moving upward. Mario moves past pieces of artwork depicting various enemies found in the game, though these do not cause the player to take damage and are simply part of the game's background. Mario continues moving upward, passing more pieces of artwork depicting various enemies and bosses. The final piece of artwork that Mario passes is that of Wario. Upon passing Wario, Mario reaches a piece of artwork depicting Mario standing in front of his castle with the text "CLEAR" written in orange at the bottom of the screen.
