Mario vs Koopa Guragura Game is a furoku balancing game released in 1991. The game features many visual elements from Super Mario World. The game was included in an issue of the Shōgaku Ichinensei magazine. Like many furoku games, Mario vs Koopa Guragura Game is made almost entirely out of cardboard.

Details[edit]

The game takes place on a boat emblazoned with the text "Super Mario Bros." (which is written on the tower) and "SMB-2" (which is written on the boat itself). Mario is standing at one end of the boat, while Bowser is standing at the other. Princess Peach is tied to the boat's mast. The boat also features various pieces of artwork depicting Bowser's Minions. To play the game, players take turns rolling a die[2], which determines which enemy they are to place on the tower. Most of the cards depicting the enemies feature artwork originating in Super Mario World. The object of the game is to keep the boat balanced. If the boat tips over, the game ends.
