New Super Mario Bros. U Coin Rush Tower[1] is a coin pusher released by Epoch in 2013. The machine is themed after New Super Mario Bros. U and features multiple different modes. Up to four players can play, each of whom has their own coin slot.

Gameplay[edit]

To begin the game, players must first load coins onto the "Jackpot Slider". Players must then flip a switch to start the machine, after which mechanical parts (such as a rotating disc with slits) will begin moving. The object of the game is to strategically drop coins so that they land in the slits; if a coin lands in one of the slits, a "Jackpot Chance" is triggered. If players hit the jackpot, coins will come out from the Jackpot Slider, during which sound effects from New Super Mario Bros. U will play.

In addition, the following modes are available:

  • Arcade Game, in which players must continue playing until the coins run out.
  • Stage Clear Game, in which players must attempt to collect the most coins before a goal sound effect plays.
  • 50 Coin Get Game, in which players compete to be the first to collect 50 coins.
  • Red Coin Get Game, in which players compete to be the first to collect 20 Red Coins.
