My Very First Nintendo Game Boy is a short-lived series of Nintendo-themed board books spanning two installments titled Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario's Adventures. Both installments were published by Sunflower Publishing and written by Joanne Barkan, and the games and illustrations were done by Dave Philips.[1] They were both released in 1997.[1]

Each book is shaped like a Game Boy, featuring a "screen" hosting a moving-parts water game and two rubber buttons used to play the water game. Inside are a series of simple puzzles typical of a children's game book, such as maze games and spot the differences. Both books also have a sidequest challenging the reader to find a number of hidden items scattered through the pages.
