Kat to Ana no Kawaribanko Nikki is an online diary allegedly maintained by Kat & Ana that is available from the official Japanese website for WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! Like the other diaries, the diary was maintained over the course of two months, with a hiatus being taken in between March 20th, 2003 and April 10th, 2003.

  • February 28th (Friday) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
With Jimmy's help, I made a homepage!
It was hard, but I managed to finish it! Hooray! Starting today, I've decided to write a diary.
Writing almost every day is hard, so I'm thinking Ana and I should take turns writing.
Nice to meet you.
  • March 1st (Saturday) Ana's Day
It's Ana. Today I'll be writing my diary.
Today I had a baby shower practice with my older sister.
She stepped in the firewood I had planted and apparently got hurt... I'm sorry, older sister.
  • March 2nd (Sunday) Kat's Day
This is Kat.
Today we went to Ninevolt-san's house and played games together!
Ana got completely destroyed by Yoshi's Cookie and started crying loudly, and it took a lot of effort to get her to stop crying.
But Mona-san gave her a real cookie and she finally stopped crying (though it was a weird cookie...).
Big sisters have it tough.
  • March 3rd (Mon) Ana's Day
It's Ana.
Today I went to see Boji at Club Sato. Even though she's already a grandma, she was running around with great energy.
Speaking of which, I happened to meet Jimmy at Club Sato and got a Chaku Melo! Lucky me!
  • March 4th (Tuesday) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
I've been getting a lot of emails from Jimmy since yesterday.
I'm happy that he sends me so many compliments, but it's hard to reply to all of his emails...
Jimmy really loves email.
  • March 5th (Sun) Ana's Day
This is Ana.
Today I played Mario Kart with Ninevolt-sama.
Ninevolt-sama was really strong, and even though my sister and I attacked together, it was hard to beat him.
But Ninevolt-sama's pet (Shaggy) also cooperated, and after attacking in three groups, we won!
The playful one was really strong!
  • March 6th (Monday) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
Today, Ana overslept and almost had to miss kindergarten. Just then, a taxi from Dribble-san came and gave us a lift, so we managed to avoid the trip.
I was really mad at Ana for sleeping, but maybe I was a little too mad...
I'll apologize.
  • March 7th (Friday) Ana's Day
It's Ana. Yesterday, I nearly missed kindergarten because I overslept, and I got into a fight with my older sister. But I couldn't bring myself to say sorry, so I didn't talk to her at all yesterday. I couldn't bring myself to say it today either, but my older sister said sorry to me, and I couldn't help but cry. I'm sorry, older sister.
  • March 8th (Saturday) Kat's Day
This is Kat.
Today, Wario said he wanted to have a barbecue, so we all went, bringing Ana along.
We made some grass dumplings and took them with us.
Wario ate them all, but we're going to sleep in the tent tonight.
Anna was just playing in Crygor's Jetpack, flying through the sky, but she got so excited she's fallen asleep now.
She's still a kid.
  • March 9th (Sunday) Ana's Day
It's Ana.
It was really cold yesterday, and I caught a cold...
My nose is running a lot. Mona looked so happy, but today I'm going to go to bed early.
  • March 10th (Mon) Kat's Day
It's a cut.
Ana had a cold today so she had to stay home from kindergarten, so I went to kindergarten by myself. It was raining really hard and the sky was dark, so I felt a bit lonely.
I wonder if I should check on Ana when I get back.
  • March 11th (Tuesday) Ana's Day
It's Ana.
I still have a cold. I want to go outside and play soon.
I wonder if I can cure my cold by playing with people...
Oh, I got another encouraging email from Jimmy.
I got a lot of emails yesterday and was happy, but there were a bit too many, so I couldn't sleep even though I wanted to...
  • March 12th (Sun) Kat's Day
It's Kat. Ana's cold hasn't gone away yet, so she's been practicing her costume by herself.
Even though she's hidden, no one is looking for her, so it's not fun. I hope Ana gets better soon.
  • March 13th (Monday) Ana's Day
It's Ana.
I'm finally feeling better from my cold! So happy!
I went to kindergarten for the first time in a while.
I did some babysitting practice with my older sister.
Being healthy is great!
  • March 14th (Friday) Kat's Day
It's Kat. Today I played with Ninevolt-sama using "The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords." The fight for the coins was so exciting! Shaggy came out on top again, and Nivevolt-sama was defeated. It seemed like two people could play, so Ana and I played together after we returned from Ninevolt-sama's house. It was fun because we could talk and collaborate while progressing!
  • March 15th (Saturday) Ana's Day
This is Ana.
Today I went on a picnic with my older sister.
We climbed up to the top of the mountain.
It's still winter, so the plants weren't very lively, but we played "ninja leaf-hiding technique" and battled!
I'd love to go again.
  • March 16th (Sunday) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
My sword broke, so I went to Crygor-san's research lab to get it repaired.
Crygor-san's research lab was kind of dull and a little scary.
  • March 17th (Mon) Ana's Day
This is Ana.
Today I went to meet Miyakyo's dog Jack.
He's a type of dog called a Shetland Sheepdog.
He looks amazing!
His fur is all fluffy, and it felt really nice to pet him.
  • March 18th (Tuesday) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
After meeting Jack, I wanted to have a pet too.
But it seems like having a pet is a lot of work.
You have to feed it every day, take it for walks, take it to the vet if it gets sick...
Apparently you have to take care of it properly.
But I want to have a pet.
  • March 19th (Sun) Ana's Day
It's Ana.
Today I taught Mona-dono magic.
Mona-dono said it was her first time doing magic, but she was so good she might have even become better than me...
I have to practice so I don't lose!
  • March 20th (Monday) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
Wario-san invited me on a space trip.
I wasn't sure what to do, but Ana seemed to want to go, so I decided to go.
I won't be writing a diary for a while, but I'll be looking forward to it!

We went on a space trip, right?
It seems like we came back while I was asleep.
I wish we could have traveled more.
  • April 16th (Sun) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
When I went to kindergarten today, everyone said, "It's been a while."
Even though I've only had two days off.
  • April 17th (Monday) Ana's Day
This is Ana.
Today we finished our craft at kindergarten.
We drew pictures of cats and elephants on origami paper, cut them into animal shapes, and stuck them all up on the walls of our classroom.
Kindergarten is so fun!
  • April 18th (Tuesday) Kat's Day
It's Kat.
I played WarioWare at Ninevolt-sama's house.
It's a game that can be played by one person, but also by others.
I asked Ninevolt-sama to play the game I made, and then for some reason, Shaggy-san appeared in it!

  • April 19th (Wednesday) Ana's Day
It's Ana.
It's already spring! There are lots of rapeseed flowers in bloom. The tiles have all turned yellow and it's so pretty!
There are butterflies flying around too. The wind is warm and it feels so nice.
I love spring!
  • April 20th (Sunday) Kat's Day
It's been warm lately, so it feels nice and sleepy.
I wonder if that's what they mean when they say "everyone doesn't remember the dawn"?
I'm going to take a quick nap.
Aaah...
  • April 21st (Mon) Ana's Day
It's Ana.
Today, my sister and I went skipping rope with Ninevolt-san.
My sister and I were singing along to the song, and Ninevolt-san jumped 100 times! That's amazing!
  • April 22nd (Tuesday) Kat's Day
It's Kat. I heard from my father about his work when he was a child. He said that he had been working in the mountains away from his parents since kindergarten. I want to be a great ninja too, so maybe I should go and live in the mountains...
  • April 23rd (Sun) Ana's Day
It's Anna. Dribble-dono gave me a paper full of comments about the game we made. I'm so happy everyone enjoyed it! He asked me to explain why we're practicing ninja skills, so I'll explain. Most of my family is ninjas[sic], so we've been practicing since kindergarten so we can become ninjas too. Let's do our best to become the best ninjas!
  • April 24th (Monday) Kat's Day
It's Kat. Today we had a party with everyone who made "WarioWare." We all worked hard on it, but it made me realize how hard everyone else worked too. It makes me want to play again. I'm going to try out the tricks I learned!
  • April 25th (Friday) Kat & Ana Day
This is Kat and Ana. You see, we've decided to work in the mountains, holed up like Dad. We'll be living just the two of us for a while. It's a little lonely not being able to see Mom and Dad, but we have to bear it because we're working. This will be the last day of the diary for now. Thanks to everyone who read! Bye-bye!
