Desktop Themes were downloadable packs of desktop wallpapers and icons available from the official Mario Party website.
Known themes[edit]
There were six known Desktop Themes, featuring Princess Peach, Mario, Donkey Kong, Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi, respectively. Clicking on the profile image of one of these characters would download the theme for the corresponding character. Each theme included a single wallpaper, as well as multiple desktop icons. They were compatible with Windows 95 and Windows 98 computers (the former only if Microsoft Plus! was installed), so it is unknown if they would run on modern hardware.
