Game Boy Color Konkurranse (referred to as Game Boy Color konkurransen on the "Winners" page) was a competition held by Nintendo of Norway in 1999. The winners were drawn on August 17, 1999, and the results were published on a webpage on the official Norwegian Nintendo website. All of the prizes were related to the Game Boy Color, and most of them were related to the Super Mario franchise. The winners were contacted and their prizes were delivered within the week.

Winners[edit]

  • Cristopher Hanssen won the first prize, which consisted of a Game Boy Color, a link cable, a power adapter, a carrying case with space for four Game Boy Color games and the system itself, Tetris DX, and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe.
  • Second, third, fourth, and fifth prize (which all result in the same prize) were won by Aleksander Solheim Foss, Andreas Bjørnestad, Anne Grete Sand, and Pia Katrin Berge. The prize consists of a Mini Classics keychain, presumably of the winner's choice. The icon used on the website depicts the yellow version of the Mario's Cement Factory release.
