Dribble to Spitz no Kinmu Nisshi is an online diary allegedly maintained by Dribble & Spitz that is available from the official Japanese website for WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! Like the other diaries, the diary was maintained over a two-month period, beginning February 28, 2003, and ending on April 25 that same year, with a hiatus being taken from March 20 to April 15.

Part 1

February 28th (Friday) Dribble

Starting today, Spitz-san and I will be taking turns writing the work diary.

Although it doesn't have to be about work, I guess.

Today we went to "Koe no Tayorau Namima made."

It's a very calming place, and it's a really nice place.

Have the customers been there yet?

• March 1st (Saturday) Spitz in charge

I'll be writing my work diary today.

No customers came in at all today, so it was incredibly boring. Dribble was snoring loudly next to me and falling asleep, and I was sleepy too, but since I was on duty, I turned on the radio hoping to listen to some music, but his snoring was so loud I couldn't hear anything.

And just when I thought a customer had finally arrived, it was Wario, who let out a stinky fart and demanded a discount on the bill. It was a really boring day.

• March 2nd (Sun) Dribble

Apparently everyone got together today and had a gaming tournament at Ninevolt's place.

But I have to work on Sunday, so I couldn't participate. Spitz-san seems to have gone though^[sic].

I really wish I had a day off too.

• Monday, March 3rd: Spitz

Today, in stark contrast to the day before yesterday, we had a lot of customers.

It was very busy, but it's much better than being bored.

On the way, I saw a scooter and a police car chasing each other, and I wonder if that was Mona-chan after all.

• March 4th (Tuesday) Dribble

I gave Crygor a ride today.

He said he was badly injured, so I asked him what happened.

He told me that he was in some kind of flying machine called a jet that broke down mid-flight and fell. That's a pretty difficult story, isn't it?

I thought I'd take him to his lab, but the lab is on an island across the sea, so I took him to the port instead.

Crygor swam back home, but I wonder if he's okay?

He's a pretty tough guy, even though he's old.

• Wednesday, March 5th: Spitz

How do you think the universe came into being?

I'm interested in the universe, and I think about it from time to time, but I wonder how it really came into being?

The most popular theory seems to be that it was created by the Big Bang, but what happened before the Big Bang?

I was thinking about that, and the whole day was over.

I didn't get any work done at all...

• March 6th (Thursday) Dribble

I happened to meet Kat and Ana this morning, and they said they were going to be late for kindergarten, so I gave them a ride.

They were arguing about oversleeping or something.

They were both pretty angry, but they're still such good sisters.

I can understand why.

• Friday, March 7th: Spitz

Today, I got to ride on Orbulon's spaceship and go to space for the first time! It was so moving!

The Earth looked so round and beautiful from space...

I thought about how they must be busy working somewhere on Earth all the time, and for some reason, tears started to come to my eyes.

I wonder why?

• March 8th (Saturday) Dribble

Today, Wario-san invited me to go to "Koe no Tayorau Namima made" for a barbecue.

I brought a lot of meat, but Wario-san ate it all by himself, so we didn't get to eat anything.

I guess the reason he invited everyone was to enjoy the food in the first place.

But Wario-san ate the meat raw, so I wonder if that's okay...?

That night, I laughed at Jimmy-san's flashy dance.

It's nice to have a day off like this every once in a while. I feel bad for Spitz-san, who had to work today, but I had a great time.

• Sunday, March 9th: Spitz

Apparently everyone had a barbecue yesterday, leaving me alone, but it seems they had a lot of trouble. It's cold camping in March.

I guess it's fun to do something reckless when you're young.

I also went camping in March when I graduated from high school, and it was fun.

We cooked rice in a pot and made hot pot... It's a good memory.

Let's have fun now. Really.

• Monday, March 10th: Dribble

It rained all day today, so I made a lot of money.

Being a taxi driver makes you sensitive to the weather, the time, the economy, and so on. You're easily affected by those things.

It can be tough at times, but it's fun and well-balanced.

• March 11th (Tue) Spitz

It's been a season where the weather is either warm or cold lately.

But the number of warm days is gradually increasing. It's exactly like the saying "three cold days, four warm days." Today it was a little warm, and Dribble said he wanted something cold, so we took a break from work and went to the gelato shop where Mona-han works part-time.

It was a little cold to eat outside, but the wind was blowing, so it felt like spring was just around the corner.

• Wednesday, March 12th: Dribble

Today I took Crygor on a ride.

He was badly injured again, so I asked him what had happened.

He told me that he was flying in that flying machine again, and got sleepy and fell asleep. Then he crashed into a building and fell down.

I wonder if he's okay...

• March 13th (Thursday) Spitz in charge

I think everyone who works as a driver knows this, but safe driving is really important. I want everyone to understand that even a slight lapse in attention can lead to a serious accident. It can be very hard on both the person who causes the accident, the person who is involved in the accident, and both their families. I want drivers to understand that before they drive. Seriously.

• Friday, March 14th: Dribble

I don't know what's going on but the roads were really crowded today, and that alone was enough to irritate me, but then a car cut in from the side, and I lost my temper and

started yelling at it.

Spitz-san got mad at me later...

I guess we should all follow proper road etiquette.

• March 15th (Sat) Spitz in charge

Recently, I've been enjoying gazing at the stars at night. It's like my soul is cleansed, or I feel like my heart becomes clear.

I feel like the night sky is especially beautiful in winter.

Maybe I'm a romantic.

• March 16th (Sun) Dribble

I'm at work today, even though it's Sunday. Well, I guess it can't be helped with this job.

There are more customers on Sundays.

But when I see the customers having fun and going off somewhere, I can't help but feel jealous.

I think I'll go and have some fun on my next day off.

• Monday, March 17th: Spitz

I was looking up at the night sky again today. And lo and behold!

I saw a shooting star! And it was a pretty big one! In fact, it felt like it landed close to me.

I wanted to make a wish, but it disappeared while I was thinking about it...

What a shame...

• March 18th (Tuesday) Dribble

Today I left work to Spitz-san and went to a relative's wedding.

The bride was beautiful. The parents were crying.

Of course, the daughter they had worked so hard to raise was leaving.

They must be overwhelmed with emotion.

Marriage is a wonderful thing.

• March 19th (Wednesday) Spitz

Today I'm featuring Jimmy-san.

By chance, we started talking about beards, and it seems that Jimmy-san is pretty confident about his beard. Apparently he grooms it into the shape of a musical note and

moves to the rhythm when he dances. That's amazing.

I'm pretty confident about my beard too. This firmness and shine are pretty impressive, don't you think?

• March 20th (Thursday) Dribble

Wario-san suddenly asked me today if I wanted to go on a space trip, and I immediately agreed.

For us sci-fi fans, this is the biggest event we could imagine.

So I'm going to take a little break from work. Apparently we'll be going to space in a spaceship built by Crygor-san, but I'm a little worried. Crygor-san keeps crashing...

Part 2

• April 15th (Tue) Spitz

We were supposed to have gone to space, right?

We flew out into space, and I was thinking how amazing it was, but suddenly we were back where we started.

What's going on?!

• April 16th (Wednesday) Dribble

L;;We went on a space trip yesterday, and apparently Crygor accidentally built a time machine instead of a spaceship.;;

So we were instantly transported three weeks into the future. We didn't get to enjoy the space to the fullest, but it was kind of sci-fi-esque and cool!

So, I wanted to brag about it to someone, so I told my boss at work. He got mad at me, saying, "What kind of sleepy excuses are you making?!" I almost got fired for taking three weeks off without permission...

• April 17th (Thursday) Spitz in charge

I really got a stern scolding. Of course, it was for being absent without permission for three weeks.

We didn't mean any harm, but I was so annoyed that I went to complain to Crygor-san.

But we got so excited talking about the time machine that I came home without complaining at all.

But it made me feel better, so I guess it's okay. If I think about it as having traveled to the future, a three-month pay cut won't be so bad.

• April 18th (Friday) Dribble

I gave a parent and child a ride in my taxi today.

I thought they looked like they were having fun in the back, and it turned out they were playing "WarioWare!"

I made this game at Wario-san's request, and I'm truly honored that they enjoyed it so much.

• April 19th (Sat) Spitz

Today, Wario came running up to me at full speed and asked for a ride, so I gave him a ride.

He apparently wanted to go to the toilet, so I took him to a nearby public restroom, where he ran into the toilet at full speed...and he never came out again.

I had no choice but to go check the toilet, but there was no one there.

What's going on?

• April 20th (Sunday) Dribble

Something was wrong with my taxi, so I had Crygor take a look.

Apparently the cause was "reckless driving"...

I had him fix it quickly so Spitz wouldn't find out.

If he found out, I'd be in big trouble...

• April 21st (Monday) Spitz in charge

It's definitely spring now. The nights aren't cold anymore, and the night breeze feels nice while driving.

The spring night sky is beautiful, too. I suddenly feel like going to space again. I wish this taxi could fly into space...

• April 22nd (Tuesday) Dribble

Crygor brought me something cool.

It was a piece of paper full of reviews of "WarioWare."

I read it straight away, and there was one review in it that caught my eye. It was this one:

"Hey, why do Dribble and Spitz get along so well?

Dogs hate cats, and cats hate dogs, right?"

...I suppose that makes sense, but Spitz is my senior and I owe him so much, so I can't look him in the eye...

• April 23rd (Wednesday) Spitz

It's been a while since I last went to "Koe no Tayorau Namima made."

This place is so relaxing.

When I listen to the sound of the waves, I feel like my heart is being cleansed with each wave.

...Huh? Isn't that Jimmy sitting there all alone?

I wonder what happened? Well, I guess I'll leave him alone.

• April 24th (Thursday) Dribble

Wario-san told me that there was going to be a roundtable discussion about "WarioWare" today, so I went along.

It's been a while since we've all been together, so I was really happy.

But even when making a single game, there are all kinds of emotions that go into it. When you play a game, it might be fun to think, "Why did I make this game?"

• April 25th (Friday) Dribble & Spitz

Sorry for the suddenness, but we've decided to stop writing our diary today.

The reason is that we've decided to get serious about saving money.

In the taxi industry, you can't get promoted unless you really work hard, and if you just sit back and do nothing, you'll get left behind in no time.

Our dream is to modify this taxi and go into space.

To do that, we need to save up a lot of money.

So we've decided to focus on our main business for now.
