The Tanoshii Super Mario Ehon are a series of Japanese children's picture books, released by Nagaokashoten on October 25, 1993.[1] Three books were released for the series: Super Star o Sagase, Harikiri Picnic, and Yūenchi wa Ōsawagi. The books are based on Super Mario World, with the first two books taking place in Dinosaur Land, though the third book takes place at an amusement park.

Super Star o Sagase Cover of Super Star-o Sagase Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi set off on an adventure to find a Super Star hidden on an island in the Ramune Kaikō. They overcome obstacles such as enemy attacks and rivers in their path.
Harikiri Picnic Cover of Harikiri Picnic Mario and his friends have a picnic on Senbei Yama. However, while they are eating, a group of Koopa Troopas arrives and steals Princess Peach's bento, forcing Mario and his friends to recover it.
Yūenchi wa Ōsawagi Cover of Yūenchi-wa Ōsawagi Mario and his friends have come to an amusement park. While walking through a haunted house, Peach disappears. It is later revealed that Bowser has kidnapped her, and they have to rescue her.
