Super Donkey Kong 4koma Manga Theater[1] is a Japanese-exclusive manga series that adapts Donkey Kong Country and its sequel, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. It is composed of three books written and drawn by several artists and published by Enix Corporation. Each page tells a short story following a four-panel format called yonkoma.
Enix also published a manga series called Super Mario 4koma Manga Theater (1991–1997) consisting of 11 books where various Super Mario titles are adapted.
Three other series of books exist with the same premise and similar titles, named 4koma Manga Ōkoku (1991–2002), 4koma Land (1993–1995), and 4koma Gag Battle (1995–2004).
