Super Mario: Here We Go! is a coloring book written by Steve Foxe and published by Random House on January 8, 2019.[1] The book contains over 100 activities and comes with a rainbow-colored pencil, though foreign releases of the book remove the colored pencil. The book's title is a reference to Mario's catchphrase "Here we go!"; this is the second book to be named after one of Mario's catchphrases, the other being Super Mario: Mario Time!

All the pages in the book lack color to encourage the reader to color them in.

The book starts with introductions of some of the characters along with an image of them the reader can color.

"This is Mario! He is the bravest hero in the Mushroom Kingdom."
"This is Mario's brother, Luigi. He always lends a hand."
"Pretty Princess Peach rules the Mushroom Kingdom."
"Toad helps run the palace. Draw him some friends."

Along with coloring Toad, the reader is tasked with drawing him some of his friends.

"Bowser wants to rule the Mushroom Kingdom. Draw a Koopa Troopa to be his helper."

Along with coloring Bowser, the reader is tasked with drawing him a Koopa Troopa to help him.

"Bowser has captured Princess Peach! Help Mario and Toad choose the correct path to find her."

This is a maze where the reader is tasked with reaching the exit to save Peach.

"Bowser has many minions—find their names in the puzzle. Look up, down, forward, backward, and diagonally."

This is a word search where the reader has to find the names of Goomba, Koopa Troopa, Blooper, Hammer Bro, Lakitu, Shy Guy, and Chain Chomp.

"Mario smashes ? Blocks to find power-ups. Unscramble the letters to find the name of each power-up."

This is an activity where the reader is tasked with unscrambling the names for the Super Mushroom, Super Star, and Fire Flower.

"The Fire Flower gives Mario the ability to shoot flames. Draw a Fire Flower here."

The reader is tasked with drawing a Fire Flower inside the box.

"Draw a ? Block for Mario to break."

The reader is tasked with drawing a ? Block above Mario.

"Which path will get Mario through the Warp Pipe maze?"

Five pipes are labeled with letters A through E, and the reader is tasked with figuring out which pipe leads to the other side. A is the correct answer, while the others lead to dead ends.

Following this, there is a coloring page with Mario stomping on a Goomba. Text above them reads "Power-up."

"What is the name of the foe that is trying to take a bite out of Mario? Unscramble the letters to find out."

This is a word puzzle where the reader has to unscramble the letters to read the name of the Piranha Plant.

"Draw a power-up to help Mario escape danger."

The reader is tasked with drawing a power-up for Mario on the same page on which he is.

Following this, there is a coloring page with Mario and Luigi. Text above them reads "Super Mario Bros."

"Watch out for Bob-ombs and Bullet Bills—they've got a short fuse!!"

The reader is tasked with looking at a picture of the Koopalings, Bowser, and Bowser Jr. on an airship for 20 seconds and answering the questions on the following page.

"Koopa Paratroopas have wings, so they can fly!"

This is another coloring page, with a Koopa Paratroopa, three coins, and a pipe.

"Dry Bones can put themselves back together if they are smashed!"

This is another coloring page, with a Dry Bones, twelve coins, a pipe, and Brick Blocks on the floor and ceiling.

"Shy Guy is shy, so he uses a mask to hide his face. For double trouble, draw another Shy Guy!"

The reader is tasked with drawing a Shy Guy next to another Shy Guy.

Koopa Dots
"Take turns with a friend drawing a line to connect two dots. If you complete a box, write your initials in it and take another turn. Each player gets one point for each regular box and two points for each box with a Koopa, Koopa Paratroopa, or Dry Bones in it. At the end of the game, the player with more points wins!"

This is a game where two players take turns drawing lines, connecting them with dots. If one player draws a line that creates a box, that player writes their initials in the box and receives one point. If there is a Koopa Troopa, Koopa Paratroopa, or Dry Bones in the box, the player receives two points. Whoever has more boxes with their initials written in them wins. The game is copied over to the next page for replay value.

"Draw Princess Peach's castle."

The reader is tasked with drawing Peach's Castle behind Peach.

Bwa-Ha-Ha-Ha!
"What evil plot is Bowser thinking up? Draw it here."

The reader is tasked with drawing what they think Bowser is thinking of for his next plot in his thought bubble.

"Bowser Jr. is Bowser's son. Circle the small picture of Bowser Jr. below that matches the big one here."

Six pictures of Bowser Jr. are shown, labeled A through F, and the reader is tasked with figuring out which one looks identical to the big Bowser Jr. above them. The picture labeled with the letter E is the correct answer.

"Bowser Jr. wants to cause some trouble. Lead him through the maze to meet up with the Koopalings."

This is another maze, where the reader is tasked with reaching the exit to reunite Bowser Jr. with the Koopalings.

"Fireballs bounce right off the shells of Buzzy Beetles. Draw some fireballs here."

The reader is tasked with drawing fireballs around a Buzzy Beetle and a pipe.

"Look out! Bloopers are fast!"

This is a coloring page with Bloopers.

"Use the grid to learn how to draw Princess Peach. Take it box by box."

The reader is tasked with drawing Peach by using the grid on the left.

The reader is tasked with unscrambling the letters to form the name of Sarasaland.

The reader is tasked with drawing a character from Sarasaland the reader would consider their best friend.

"Use the code to uncover Toad's message to Mario."

This is a word puzzle where, using the key, the reader has to write down the vowels that correspond to the items. A is represented by a Super Mushroom, E is represented by a Fire Flower, I is represented by a Super Star, O is represented by a Yoshi Egg, and U is represented by a coin. Once decoded, the message reads "Thank you, Mario! But our princess is in another castle!" referencing a line said by the Mushroom retainers at the end of every castle level in Super Mario Bros. except World 8-4.

"Toad and Toadette are best pals!"

This is a coloring page with Toad and Toadette as well as flowers and hills in the background.

"They're called Wigglers for a reason!"

This is a coloring page with Mario bouncing on a Wiggler.

Triple Trouble!
"Connect the dots to reveal one of Bowser's minions."

The reader is tasked with solving a dot-to-dot puzzle that forms the outline of a Koopa Paratroopa over a Blooper and a Cheep Cheep. This activity was reused from the Super Mario Official Sticker Book.

"Draw your crown in the space below. It can be like Princess Peach's, Princess Daisy's, or Rosalina's."

The reader is tasked with drawing their own crown similar to the ones Mario characters wear.

"Tick, tick, tick–BOOM! Draw an explosion around the Bob-omb."

The reader is tasked with drawing an explosion around a Bob-omb.

This is a maze where the reader is tasked with reaching the exit while avoiding pathways blocked by Boos.

The reader is tasked with writing out "Hammer Bros" by taking the letters above the blanks and replacing them with the next letter in the alphabet. For the a in "Hammer Bros," the reader is tasked with starting at the beginning of the alphabet as no letter follows z.

This is a coloring page featuring Yoshi and Birdo.

"Use the grid to learn how to draw Mario. Take it box by box."

This is the same as the "Draw Peach!" activity, except the reader is drawing Mario.

The reader is tasked with drawing details on Birdo's bow.
