Super Mario Land Kessen Meiro is a collection of mazes and puzzles based on Super Mario Land, written and illustrated by Yukio Sawada. It was published in Gakushū Yōchien in 1989.

Mario is going to Sarasaland to save Princess Daisy from the evil alien Tatanga.

スカイポップ号 (Sky Pop)
くもをうまくとおりぬけられるのは、なんばんかな。(I wonder how many times you can successfully slip through the clouds.)

A cloud maze that Mario has to cross on the Sky Pop.

パワーアップめいろ (Power-up Maze)
Super Mushroom Star Superball Flower のパワーアップ アイテムを、ぜんぶとおってすすんでね。(おなじみちはとおれません。てきにきをつけてね。)(Pass through all the power-ups to move forward. (You can't pass through the same way twice, so be careful.))

Another cloud maze, featuring a Super Mushroom, a Flower, and a Star alongside a Chicken, a Fly, and a Bunbun.

ピラプト王国めいろ (Birabuto Kingdom Maze)
パックンフラワーにつかまらないように、ボス(キングトトメス)をにおして土かんにはいろう。(Send the boss (King Totomesu) to the grave, while avoiding the Piranha Plants.)

Mario abandons the Sky Pop and enters the Birabuto Kingdom's pyramid to face King Totomesu, while avoiding two Piranha Plants. A Goombo and a Bombshell Koopa are also present in the background.

ミューダ王国めいろ (Muda Kingdom Maze)
マリンポップ号でうまく みずのなかをぬけてね。てきにきをつけろ。(Cross the sea with the Marine Pop. Watch out for enemies.)

A maze set in Muda Kingdom featuring the Marine Pop, at the dead ends two Gunion, two Honen, a Yurarin, and Tamao are awaiting.

イーストン王国めいろ (Easton Kingdom Maze)
ボスのヒヨイホがあらわれに。マリオのパンチはきまるかな。(The boss Hiyoihoi appears. Will Mario be able to land a punch?)

The maze is shaped like Hiyoihoi. Some Ganchans are present as background characters.

チャイ王国めいろ (Chai Kingdom Maze)
いよいよさいごのくにだ。タタンガをたおしてデイジーひめをたすけよう。Sprite of Pionpis from Super Mario Land. のところはとおれないよ。(We've finally reached the Final Kingdom. Defeat Tatanga and save Princess Daisy. You can't pass through the Pionpi.)

A maze set in Chai Kingdom, with various paths blocked by the Pionpi, which are to be avoided.

はしこをのぼったりおりたりして、デイジーひめのところへいってね。はしごのないところはいけないよ。(Climb the mountain and reach Princess Daisy. You must take a ladder to move)

The second part has Mario climbing a mountain to rescue Daisy and avoiding two Nyololin.
