Super Mario-kun

Famicom Manga: Super Mario-kun is a one-shot manga written and illustrated by Yukio Sawada. It was published in the kindergarten-aimed magazine Gakushū Yōchien (学習幼稚園) by Shogakukan in September 1986 as part of the Famicom Manga series.

The manga is a brief guide to Super Mario Bros. with Mario presenting the plot and then diving into the game to illustrate the game mechanics.

Later on, Sawada would reuse the Super Mario-kun title for other series.
