Ore-sama no Maruhi Nikki is an online diary allegedly maintained by Wario that is available from the official Japanese website for Wario Land 4. Unlike other online diaries written by characters from the Wario franchise, only one entry of this diary was published. The entry details Wario's discovery of the Golden Pyramid.

August 21, 2001
On a peaceful morning, with the chirping of birds in the air, I was in my secret hideout, picking my nose and reading the morning paper.
"What? What? What? What?"
I was shocked! As soon as I saw an article in the paper, I was so surprised that I ate the booger off my hand!
"Ugh! That's gross! Who cares about a booger?"
The headline of the article was "Legendary Pyramid Discovered!!!" What?! Reading the article, I discovered that this ruin was once the resting place of Chocolat, the princess of a king who ruled this area, but that it had been taken over by the arrogant, selfish, money-hungry "Golden Diva" and became a cursed ruin! It seemed like

I could smell treasure again...?

"Heh, heh, heh,"
I said with a creepy laugh, for treasure was the only thing on my mind!
Forgetting my usual daily routine of pooping, I jumped into my prized Wario Car and head straight for the "Golden Pyramid"!
""All the treasure is mine! Hungaah!"
