Super Smash Bros. Brawl-konkurransen is a contest held by Nintendo of Norway in 2009. Information pertaining to the contest was published on the official Norwegian Nintendo website. Users had the opportunity to win multiple prizes, including a copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a copy of New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis, and a copy of Sonic and the Black Knight. Five winners were chosen.
Rules[edit]
To participate in the contest, users were to come up with an interesting title for each of the three images shown on the site. Users were to then come up with a comment about what is happening in each of the three pictures. The website states that this comment can either be background narration, come directly from the characters in the picture, or both. The five people with the funniest captions and comments won a copy of one of the aforementioned games. Any posts with inappropriate wording would not be published on the website if that entry won, though there were otherwise no restrictions on what could be submitted. The language was to be either Norwegian or English, or a mix of the two languages. Users were allowed to submit as many entries as they wanted, though each entry had to follow the aforementioned rules. Users were to submit their entries to support@nintendo.no, and they were to feature "SSB-konkurransen" in the subject line. The deadline for submissions was March 15th.
