"Yoshi's Tale"[1][2] is a musical theme composed by Kazumi Totaka for the ending cutscene in Yoshi's Story.

Yoshi's Story[edit]

Yoshi's Story marks the first appearance of "Yoshi's Tale." It is also included in the official soundtrack albums Music to Pound the Ground to: Yoshi's Story Game Soundtrack and Yoshi Story Original Soundtrack.

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Tale" can play in the Yoshi's Island stage. This theme also incorporates brief arrangements of "Yoshi's Story!" and "Yoshi's Song" from the same game. It is titled "Ending (Yoshi's Story)" in the game's sound test, and it was arranged by Masafumi Takada. It is also included in the official album Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U: A Smashing Soundtrack.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, "Ending (Yoshi's Story)" from Super Smash Bros. Brawl can once again play in the Yoshi's Island stage.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, "Ending (Yoshi's Story)" from Super Smash Bros. Brawl can play in the Woolly World stage.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, "Ending (Yoshi's Story)" from Super Smash Bros. Brawl can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Yoshi-series stage. It is titled "Yoshi's Tale" in the game's sound test.

WarioWare D.I.Y.[edit]

In WarioWare: D.I.Y., one of 9-Volt's records is a Latin medley arrangement in A major of "Yoshi's Story!," "Yoshi's Song," and "Yoshi's Tale" from Yoshi's Story. It is simply titled "Yoshi."

Nintendo Land[edit]

In Nintendo Land, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Tale" plays in the Yoshi's Fruit Cart minigame when drawing the lines for the Yoshi Cart to follow in nighttime gates. More instrumentation is added as the player progresses through the attraction's gates, with five total versions being heard.

Mario Kart World[edit]

In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Tale" can play in Free Roam.
