"Title",[1] also known as "Title Theme"[2] or "Title Screen",[3] is a musical theme in Super Mario Maker, where it plays in the game's title screen.

Super Mario Maker / Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

Super Mario Maker marks the first appearance of "Title". It is also included in the official album The 30th Anniversary Super Mario Bros. Music. Additional bongo percussion is added to the instrumentation whenever the player rides a Yoshi. A chiptune arrangement of the theme plays when the letter K on the logo is tapped.

The original theme, the Yoshi remix, and the chiptune arrangement all return in the Nintendo 3DS port, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, for the same purposes. Exclusively in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, an excerpt of "Title" plays when selecting the game on the Nintendo 3DS HOME Menu.

Super Mario Maker 2 features several arrangements of "Title".

An arrangement of "Title" with a differently structured intro plays in the game's title screen. Additional bongo percussion is added to the instrumentation whenever the player rides a Yoshi.

A chiptune arrangement of "Title" plays when a Super Mario Bros. or Super Mario Bros. 3-style level is loaded in the title screen.

A music box arrangement of "Title" plays when a nighttime level is loaded in the title screen.

An arrangement of "Title" plays during the opening cutscene to Story Mode.

An arrangement of "Title" plays during the game's staff credits. This theme also incorporates an arrangement of "Music Box" from Super Mario Bros. 3 approximately 1 minute and 43 seconds in.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, an arrangement of "Title" arranged by Saki Kasuga can play in the Super Mario Maker stage, which was added as downloadable content on September 30, 2015. It is titled "Title (Super Mario Maker)" in both games' sound tests.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the arrangement of "Title" from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage. It is titled "Title Theme - Super Mario Maker" in the game's sound test.

Mario Kart World[edit]

In Mario Kart World, a jazz fusion arrangement of "Title" can play in Free Roam during the day. It is titled "Title Screen" in the game's pause menu.
