"Title BGM"[1] is a musical theme composed by Akito Nakatsuka for Excitebike, where it plays in the game's title screen. It consists of four variations numbered as such in the Nintendo Music app and differing in their usage of frequency sliding; these variations are cycled through each time the title screen appears. "Winners Podium BGM"[1] is a melodic continuation of the theme which plays when showing the results of each race.

WarioWare: Twisted![edit]

In WarioWare: Twisted!, "Title BGM 1" plays during level 1 of the Excitebike microgame, "Title BGM 3" plays during level 2, and "Title BGM 2" plays during level 3. Upon clearing any level of the microgame, "Winners Podium BGM" plays.

In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, an orchestral arrangement of "Title BGM" is one of the themes that the player can conduct in level 3 of the Opening Night microgame. It is titled "Excite Bike" in the Sound Studio.

WarioWare Gold[edit]

In WarioWare Gold, "Title BGM 1" plays during level 1 of the Excitebike microgame, "Title BGM 3" plays during level 2, and "Title BGM 2" plays during level 3.

Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

“We worked the original NES Excitebike music in as a motif here. We used the old NES sound for the melody and accompanied it with a band. We were aiming to create a track that would be familiar while also having a fresh new feel.”

In Mario Kart 8 and the Nintendo Switch port, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 DLC, a medley arrangement of "Title BGM" and "Winners Podium BGM" arranged by Shiho Fujii plays in Excitebike Arena. It is likewise titled "Excitebike Arena" in the Nintendo Music app and the official Mario Kart 8 Original Soundtrack album. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Super Mario Maker[edit]

In Super Mario Maker, "Winners Podium BGM" plays when the player completes a course as Costume Mario with the Bike costume.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "Excitebike Arena" can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Mario Kart-series stage. It is titled "Excitebike - Mario Kart 8" in the game's sound test.
