"Koopa Troopa Beach,"[1][2] also known as simply "Beach,"[3] is a musical theme composed by Kenta Nagata for Mario Kart 64, where it plays in the race course of the same name.

Mario Kart 7[edit]

In Mario Kart 7, an arrangement of "Koopa Troopa Beach" plays in N64 Koopa Beach, likewise titled "N64 Koopa Beach" in the Nintendo Music app. This arrangement uses higher quality samples, but it is otherwise near identical to the original. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place. This arrangement returns in Mario Kart Tour for the same race course.

Mario Kart World features two arrangements of "Koopa Troopa Beach."

A faster "daytime" arrangement can play during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race. In Grand Prix, it is one of three arrangements that can play on the route from Koopa Troopa Beach to Faraway Oasis in the Shell Cup. In VS Race, it can play on routes from beach tracks such as Koopa Troopa Beach, Peach Beach and Salty Salty Speedway.

A calmer "nighttime" arrangement can play in Free Roam and is exclusive to that mode.

The Mario Kart 64 on Club Circuit album features a funk arrangement of "Koopa Troopa Beach," simply titled "beach" and arranged by Professor N.
