"Salty Salty Speedway"[1][2] is a musical theme in Mario Kart World, where it plays when racing on the course of the same name. This theme prominently features an accordion and violins, and is backed by a mandolin.

In Knockout Tour, approaching the next checkpoint causes the music to transition into a coda, which sounds similar to the intro, but with an added jingle at the end.

Mario Kart World features the first appearance of "Salty Salty Speedway". A slower pastiche of the theme, with a prominent mandolin melody plays when approaching the track from a route before reaching the course's finish line. It is titled "Salty Salty Speedway (Intro)" in the Nintendo Music app.

A remix of "Salty Salty Speedway (Intro)" without the mandolin and accordion plays during the rolling start of the Boomerang Rally.

A jazz arrangement of the B section of "Salty Salty Speedway" in 6
