"Lake Lapcat"[1] is a musical theme in the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, where it plays in the greater Lake Lapcat. While most islands feature distinct musical themes, "Lake Lapcat" continues to play on Fur Step Island and in Clawswipe Colosseum. It is a relaxed theme with a whistled melody.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury[edit]

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury marks the first appearance of "Lake Lapcat".

The theme that plays during the Bowser's Fury campaign's opening cutscene, "To Lake Lapcat", features a quote of "Lake Lapcat".

"Cat Shine!" is a brief arrangement of "Lake Lapcat".

When Mario is riding Plessie, an uptempo arrangement of "Lake Lapcat" titled "Riding Plessie" plays. The looping drum set beat, trumpets, and bass adaptively fade out when Plessie is in a standstill, leaving only string instrumentation.

The theme that plays during the Bowser's Fury campaign's staff credits, "Bowser's Fury Credits", is a medley of several themes from the campaign. It features a call and response arrangement of "Riding Plessie" responded to with "Super Bell Hill". The theme concludes with a whistle reprise of the intro to "Lake Lapcat".

Tetris 99[edit]

In Tetris 99, the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury theme from the 20th Maximus Cup features "Riding Plessie" as the results screen theme.

Mario Kart World[edit]

In Mario Kart World, a Latin jazz arrangement of "Riding Plessie" can play in Free Roam during the day and on any VS Race route. It is titled "Plessie Ride!" in the game's pause menu.
