- “This is quite a scary course. You can't jump, which means that enemies you'd normally dispatch without any problem suddenly become just that bit more menacing.”
- —Liner notes in the Super Mario 3D World Original Soundtrack
"Captain Toad Plays Peek-a-Boo"[1] is a musical theme in Super Mario 3D World, where it plays in the Captain Toad's Adventures course of the same name. It quotes "The Toad Brigade" from Super Mario Galaxy and retains most of the theme's instrumentation.

Notes[edit]
- The liner notes for the theme in the Super Mario 3D World Original Soundtrack mention that enemies become more difficult to defeat due to Captain Toad's inability to jump; however, the only course that the theme plays in, Captain Toad Plays Peek-a-Boo, features only Boos and Peepas, which cannot be defeated with jump-based attacks.
