"The Great Tower Showdown 2"[1] is a musical theme composed by Mahito Yokota for Super Mario 3D World, where it plays during the second phase of the final boss battle against Meowser in The Great Tower of Bowser Land.

History[edit]

Super Mario 3D World / Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury[edit]

Super Mario 3D World marks the first appearance of "The Great Tower Showdown 2", and it returns for the same purpose in the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is also included in the official Super Mario 3D World Original Soundtrack album.

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the original version of "The Great Tower Showdown 2" can play in the Mario Galaxy stage.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "The Great Tower Showdown 2" can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
