Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
|<< List of worlds >>|
World Bowser (alternatively called Bowser World or Bowser Land, as implied by the name of the world's final level) is the eighth and final story world of Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Unlike most endgame Super Mario worlds (including World Castle, which came immediately before it), World Bowser is not a volcanic stage; rather, it is a large amusement park built in the likeness of Bowser, with a volcano in the back, and it sits high above every preceding world.
It contains seven standard courses, four boss courses (including Bowser's Castle), a Mystery House, a Toad House, and a Sprixie House; it is also the only normal world without an Enemy Battle. The world is apparently powered by the Sprixie Princesses, who are freed upon the completion of the world's Castle. The bosses encountered here are Pom Pom, Motley Bossblob, Hisstocrat, and the final boss, Meowser.
|Level number||Level name||Preview||Description|
|World Bowser-1||Spiky Spike Bridge||A rainy outdoor fortress course with Spikes and Parabones.|
|World Bowser-2||Plessie's Dune Downhill||A desert course with Plessie.|
|World Bowser-3||Cookie Cogworks||A cookie-themed course with spinning cookies.|
|World Bowser-Train||The Bowser Express||A train course with Pom Pom as the boss.|
|World Bowser-4||Footlight Lane||An outdoor fortress course at night with blue invisible platforms, small sections of which appear when the player stands on them.|
|World Bowser-5||Deepwater Dungeon||An underwater fortress course, and the second in World Bowser where Plessie can be ridden, though only in a small segment of the course.|
|World Bowser-6||A Beam in the Dark||A dark Ghost House with Light Boxes.|
|World Bowser-7||Grumblump Inferno||A lava course with several Grumblumps, large crystal blocks with faces; they start slowly rolling when the player walks on them and will go faster when ground-pounded on.|
|World Bowser-A||Motley Bossblob's Encore||A rematch with a now golden Motley Bossblob, though still taking place in the same circus tent-like arena.|
|World Bowser-B||Hisstocrat Returns||A boss battle with the magenta Hisstocrat taking place in a circus tent-like course.|
|World Bowser-Castle||The Great Tower of Bowser Land||The final main level in the game where the final boss, Meowser, is fought. The level itself takes place in the carnival area surrounding the very tall tower in the center of it.|
|World Bowser-Mystery House||Mystery House Claw Climb||The Mystery House of World Bowser; the Cat form is used in all of the sections.|
|World Bowser-Sprixie House||Sprixie House||A Sprixie in the Sprixie House gives the player a Stamp of a scared Sprixie Princess.|
- There is a glitch where the player can get on top of the pipe leading to this world; if the player falls off the pipe, they will land in World 3. It was patched in the Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
- In Mario Party 10, many of the Bowser Party minigames appear to take place in World Bowser or a similarly-designed area.
