Simmering Lava Lake, or World Castle-7, is the seventh course in the seventh world of Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, World Castle. It becomes accessible by clearing either Trick Trap Tower or Rammerhead Reef, and its completion unlocks Bowser's Lava Lake Keep.

Layout

This level starts on a platform where lava rises and sinks. After navigating past some Parabones and Splorches, the player comes upon a Clear Pipe which transports them to an area with the Checkpoint Flag. This area houses some Lava Geysers, more of the aforementioned enemies, and a Clear Pipe at the end. The clear pipe brings the player to an area with a few Charvaarghs and the Goal Pole.

Green Stars

	The first Green Star is near the first Splorch area, floating high above lava, and can be reached with a Boomerang from the Boomerang Flower. It can also be obtained as Tanooki Mario.
	The player has to activate the Green Star Ring and collect all eight Green Star Coins to reveal the second Green Star.
	After the stamp, the player must head south from the large blue square platform to find the third Green Star.

	After the checkpoint, the stamp is underneath the grating. It can only be collected when the lava has sunken. The stamp is a Boomerang Flower.
