Layout[edit]

Toadette starts the level at the bottom floor, and needs to make her way to the Power Star hidden in a secret room on the top floor. The beginning ofthe level features three Shy Guys patroling small corridors, and Toadette can defeat them using Turnips that are hidden in Pluck Patches behind them. This can be done by turning Toadette's headlamp off using the Y Button.

After passing the three Shy Guys, Toadette climbs a ladder to the top floor, where a Fire Piranha Plant is found. After that, two Shy Guys are walking in a square to guard the Power Star, hidden in a secret room to their right, which is only revealed once Toadette enters it. Within that room, there is an additional secret room where a key to the Locked Door in the previous Shy Guy room.

Unlocking the door leads to a Super Mushroom and a purple Warp Pipe to the bottom of the level, where Toadette can find many Coins guarded by three more Piranha Plants.

Super Gems[edit]

Three Super Gems can be found throughout the level.

  • Super Gem 1: Inside the room with the second Shy Guy, accessible via a ladder.
  • Super Gem 2: When encountering the Fire Piranha Plant, Toadette must trick it into spitting a fireball toward a torch, lighting it up and revealing the Super Gem.
  • Super Gem 3: There's another room accessible from the room with the Power Star, and pulling the Pluck Patch reveals a Key. Toadette must then backtrack to the locked door guarded by two Shy Guys. Once inside the locked room, Toadette can climb down a ladder to a purple warp pipe to another room with three Fire Piranha Plants and a Pluck Patch containing the Super Gem.
